One out of six people of the world population are living in India.
But where are they living?
India has got many millionaire cities. Most of them are located in the alluvial lowlands and coastal plains. Many Indians are poor and they would never survive in the desert.
Thus most of them moved in suburbs of the “Big 15” (millionaire’s cities). There they are living in huge slums, where many people live on a small place.
In the major cities there are suburbs with a population density of more than 9200 people per square kilometer. Around these suburbs there are many of the main agricultural areas (rice, wheat, cotton…).
